2017 WLF Photo Show

2017 marks the 5th Annual Photo Show in conjunction with the Warkworth Lilac Festival. In 2011 the 1st Lilac Festival was held to herald the beauty of over 300 lilacs, of which there are 73 rare varieties planted along the Millennium Lilac Trail in this unique rural village of Warkworth! In the past four years photographers from Peterborough to Prince Edward County, and from Cambridge to Kingston and beyond have keenly participated in this Photo Competition with its Easy Online Entry, Low Fees, and $950.00 in cash prizes, thanks to the generosity of local organizations and businesses within the Municipality of Trent Hills!

We look forward to your entry being among the well over 200 great photo submissions anticipated again this year as we celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday! You’ll find Warkworth to be a friendly village with a variety of interesting shops to explore, as well as enjoying the many attractions at the Lilac Festival, including the Gallery of Finalists Prints. Perhaps one of these finalist and winning prints could be yours!
